Carol Poist is a retired engineer who now delights in spending her time immersed in watercolor. She enjoys watercolor as the perfect medium, with its spontaneous flowing qualities and it's clear, transparent color. With watercolor, light comes from within the painting! Carol focuses on pseudo-realistic landscape and still life paintings, and tries to infuse every painting with the tangible presence of light.
